Chris Brown clearly has a dating pattern.

The hip hop bad boy seems to have officially gotten back together with his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran. Their mutual friend, rapper Kid Red, Instagrammed a photo of the lovebirds cuddling at Chris' Hollywood Hills home with the caption "No friendship without love." In the pic, a solemn Chris rests his shaved head on Karrueche's shoulder.

The singer probably needed a shoulder to lean on before going into court the following day. A judge decided at his Monday hearing that he will determine whether Chris violated his probation (he's on probation for assaulting his now ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009) at a preliminary hearing on July 15. What's more? He's reportedly still under criminal investigation after allegedly assaulting Frank Ocean in January and is also being investigated for an alleged hit-and-run last month. Karrueche was a passenger in his Range Rover when the accident occurred.

Chris dumped Karrueche earlier this year to get back together with Rihanna. Now that they're an item again, Karrueche has reportedly been staying with the singer at his Hollywood Hills residence. Karrueche fueled the dating rumors when she posted a photo of her bare butt beside Chris' face. Rihanna responded with a picture of her own bodacious behind. Will the cycle ever end?
