Jennifer Garner Stays Busy With Her Brood

On Wednesday Jennifer Garner grabbed coffee with son Samuel, then we spotted her grocery shopping solo, and finally she grabbed her oldest daughter Violet at school. Whew!

While Jen is getting back to work this summer on several film projects, the one thing she's not working on is her marriage. When Jen and hubby Ben Affleck appeared on the season finale of Saturday Night Live last month, the duo joked about his awkward Oscars speech where he called their relationship "work."

"You may remember that in my speech, I thanked my wife, while also saying that the essence of marriage is work," Ben said. Jen then stepped in and noted that "work" is a word they use when they talk about their commitment to one another. Huh? And that's not very funny either...

Of course, the couple did get a few laughs when Ben told his Jen how he would have liked to have ended his Oscars speech. "You're my angel, my life, my world," he said. Jen then pointed to a man holding a cue card and said, "You're reading that!"
