The fifth season of Glee will return this September, and producers are still trying to figure out what to do with Cory Monteith's beloved character Finn.
Though no official decisions have been made, a source close to the show tells HollywoodLife:
Reportedly Glee has halted production until early August and its fifth season's premiere date has been moved back to September 26.
The 31-year-old actor was found dead in his room at the Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel in Vancouver on Saturday, and on Tuesday the British Columbia Coroners Service stated that he passed away due to a "mixed drug toxicity" of heroin and alcohol.

- "There has been talk about writing the first few episodes around old footage of Cory from the show and actually have Finn be alive for a bit in order to lead into a more emotional goodbye so it doesn’t feel sudden. The producers are weighing what the cast and his family think of the idea, and of course Lea Michele, to see if it’s at all plausible to attempt. Regardless, they want to do any angle with dignity."
