Jay-Z made a surprise appearance at Pace Gallery in Manhattan, and the rapper reportedly performed “Picasso Baby,” for a group of lucky fans for six straight hours while cameras rolled. The footage will be used for the track’s music video, and those lucky enough to be on the guest list included various members of the art and media community and a few folks with 40/40 club membership.

Entertainment Weekly chatted with a few of the dancers at the shoot, and they didn’t even know that they were working on a Jay-Z video until earlier in the day. Judd Apatow, Girls star Adam Driver and rapper Wale were among those at Pace yesterday afternoon, and several Vine and YouTube videos have popped up online, including the one below:
