Amanda Bynes' involuntary psychiatric hold has been extended for another 30 days, and just a few minutes ago a judge at the Oxnard Courthouse granted her parents a temporary conservatorship.

A legal proceeding took place last night to extend Bynes' stay at Hillmont Psychiatric Center, and doctors also declared that Bynes was not well enough to leave the hospital to attend her conservatorship hearing this morning.

The 30-day extension is technically a state temporary mental health conservatorship, but the temporary one that was just granted to her parents will now give them the authority to manage her finances. The temporary conservatorship will last until September 30, at which point there will be another hearing to decide whether to make the conservatorship permanent.
