Usher's 5-Year-Old Son Hospitalized After Nearly Drowning

Usher's 5-year-old son, Usher Raymond V, is currently in the hospital after nearly drowning on Monday at the singer's Atlanta home.

According to reports, Usher's son attempted to get a toy from the pool drain but his arm got stuck, and when his aunt and a maid weren't able to free him, two male employees finally came to the rescue and pulled him to the surface.

Usher and ex-wife Tameka Foster are reportedly keeping vigil at his side, and a source tells People, "Tameka got a call from one of Usher's staff members and rushed to the hospital. She almost collapsed when she heard the news."

In July of 2012, Foster's 11-year-old son Kile Glover (Usher was his step-dad) died after being hit by a jet ski while in Georgia's Lake Lanier. "She's still not over Kile, and now this happens," the source added. "She is not going to leave his side now ... We're all lifting him up in prayer."
