Sarah Jessica Parker Heads To The U.S. Open With Her Kids

Over the weekend Sarah Jessica Parker and hubby Matthew Broderick took their three children to the U.S. Open in New York City, and the family watched Serena Williams beat Victoria Azarenka of Belarus.

While SJP hasn't been super busy with film or TV roles lately, last week she threw a star-studded dinner party at her New York City home to help raise money for President Barack Obama's campaign for re-election. The President and First Lady Michelle Obama attended the event, which raised $2 million dollars for the Obama Victory Fund and cost $40,000 a plate.

Celeb guests included Meryl Streep, Michael Kors, Andy Cohen and Anna Wintour, and SJP's son was around to provide some entertainment. When Obama mentioned that GM is "back on top," James Wilkie started clapping. The President smiled and said, "That's worth applauding ... Right on cue."
