The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian have been in New York City since last week. His mother reportedly died on October 28 and the couple attended her wake a couple days after.

The 30-year-old appeared to have been close to his mother's side during her last days, which explains his absence from many notable Kardashian family events including Kanye West's proposal to Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner's 18th birthday.
