Turns out the former Disney star had actually teamed up with Boardwalk Empire's Michael Shannon to film a music video for DJ Avicii and this faux fight was part of it.

Sorry VHudge, this staged stunt was more of an Aubrey-Plaza-MTV-Movie-Awards-awkward-move than the earth-shattering Miley moment we know you were probably hoping for.

While Vanessa's YouTube prank fell flat, at least the world can still feast on "Sneaker Night."
