On Saturday Jennifer Garner took her three kids to a holiday party, and later the group tried on clown noses at a store in Brentwood. On the way out little Samuel couldn't resist trying to grab at his mom's face while Seraphina and Violet trailed behind with the nanny.

We're not sure where hubby Ben Affleck was, but in a recent interview with Playboy, the hunky actor/director couldn't stop gushing about Jen. Ben told the mag, "Getting to know her, falling in love with her and being connected with her gave me a foundation to reach out and say, 'Okay, I'm going to do Hollywoodland. I'm going to direct Gone Baby Gone.' Those were the steps forward I needed to put positive stuff on the board." He is of course referring to the period of time after his romance with Jennifer Lopez where he was slammed by the press for making a few bad personal and professional moves.

"She is by leaps and bounds the most important person to me in that respect," Ben added. "Over the past 10 years she has allowed me to have a stable home life while accomplishing my professional goals." Awww!
