Make up your mind, son! After dropping a bomb on his fans on Christmas Eve by announcing he was "officially retiring," Justin Bieber has backtracked on his claims -- and even posting an a cappella video as a "Christmas present" to his Beliebers.
On Tuesday night, Justin tweeted to his legion of fans, "My beloved beliebers I'm officially retiring."
However the impulsive move -- appears to have only been a joke (aka publicly stunt) and the 19-year-old troublemaker's heels seem perfectly planted in the music world.
After writing the tweet that broke every teen girl's heart, Bieber later explained his bold move and that he was here to stay:
- "The media talks a lot about me. They make a up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I'm never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle. Be kind loving to each other, forgive each other as god forgave us through Christ Merry Christmas IM HERE FOREVER."
Well that's terrible news. We'd just popped open the champagne to celebrate the fall of the house of Bieber. Guess we will just have to toast making it through Christmas alive.
In addition to the tweets, the Boyfriend singer then posted a video of his singing acapella to some of his recent hits, saying that they vid was a "Christmas present" to his voracious followers. Uhh yeah -- after you broke their hearts -- they need something!
Well that was excellent timing -- since the Biebs' brand-new concert documentary, Believe, hit theaters yesterday. We're sure a plethora of starry eyed fans are thanking Kris Kringle for giving them back their idol.
We can't lie -- we are a little disappointed by Justin's fakeout -- that was the greatest gift we could have gotten. We can only handle so many selfies!
