Well, it doesn't look like they got married! But maybe they got engaged?

On Wednesday evening John Mayer returned from his Hawaiian vacation with girlfriend Katy Perry, and according to a report in Life & Style, the couple flew 12 friends out to the island for a "special" trip, and many speculated that the two might be exchanging vows.

A source told the mag, “John is usually so private so the fact that he flew all his friends in to be with them was very special. John and Katy greeted all of them with huge smiles and hugs and told them she wanted each one of them with her and John in Hawaii and that she loved them all.”

So ... anyone gotten a peek at Katy's left hand in the last 48 hours?
