Cat got your tongue, Madonna?!
Despite last night's Grammy performance, the 55-year-old isn't resting on her laurels and is keeping her fit form in shape while taking trip to a Los Angeles gym on Monday. While en route to the gym, our photogs couldn't help but ask the Material Girl about her recent N-Word scandal -- and it appears as though the superstar is having none of it!
The "Lucky Star" singer avoided answering questions when our photographer on the scene asked her about the incident. Even though Madonna is known for her quick wit and her silver tongue -- for once it looks like the mom of four is staying mum! Probably a good idea!
On Jan. 17, Madge stepped into controversy when she posted a photo of her eldest son at the boxing gym and wrote, "No one messes with Dirty Soap! Mama said knock you out!" along with the hashtag "#disni**a." A few minutes later Madonna uploaded the same picture, and though she removed the N-word, she kept the language just as foul. "Ok let me start this again," she wrote. "#get off of my d*ck haters!"
Subsequently, there was extreme public outcry and the Grammy winner apologized for using the derogatory term.
Madonna said in a statement:
Leaving the trouble behind last night, the 55-year-old queen of pop performed "Same Love" with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis at the show while Queen Latifah officiated 33 gay marriages just before the big number.

- "I am sorry if I offended anyone with my use of the N-word on Instagram. It was not meant as a racial slur. I am not a racist. There's no way to defend the use of the word. It was all about intention. It was used as a term of endearment toward my son who is white. I appreciate that it's a provocative word and I apologize if it gave people the wrong impression. Forgive me."
