On Monday afternoon a cheerful Hilary Duff picked up her son Luca from the babysitter in Studio City, and this is just a few days after the former Disney darling confirmed that she and hubby Mike Comrie were splitting after three years of marriage.

"Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie have mutually decided to an amicable separation. They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time," her rep said in a statement.
