Willow Smith is sassy -- but you already knew that, didn't you?

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's 13-year-old daughter definitely knows how to grab people's attention -- and her high-profile photoshoot with Karl Lagerfeld is certainly no exception.

In the night time shoot for V Magazine, the teen wore a bevy of rough and rocking' styles and looked like anything but a wallflower.

Last February, Willow, known for whipping her hair both to and fro, turned down the role in the highly anticipated remake of Annie in order to experience "normal life" as a seventh grader.

"I just wanted to chill, and be at home, and decompress, and just find out what I wanna do and where," she told the mag. "I stand on this planet, with the little tiny place we have,' she tells the publication with the wisdom of someone much older."

However, the singer admitted going back to school after her stint being home schooled was a difficult venture. However, Willow admitted she's "enjoying just being independent and doing my own thing'.

Doing her "own thing" seems very much up Willow's alley. Even famed fashion man Lagerfeld requested that the songstress bring her own clothes to the shoot so that he could mix them in with his selections. Turns out -- Chanel's big man used more of her clothing that he anticipated.

"I can never tell what I'm gonna wear. I kind of just put on whatever feels right," said the Fresh Prince's only daughter about her sense of style. "Sometimes that's Converse and a T-shirt, sometimes it's Givenchy heels and leather pants."

The shoot, which was styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, features pieces from Givenchy, Willow's personal clothing and Chanel.

And while many would be intimidated by the legendary designer, don't count Willow among them. "[He's] very, very friendly and open. I thought he was gonna be really mysterious, like peering over his glasses, evaluating. But he was just awesome. I don’t have words, because he’s such a huge icon."
