From the overalls to the lipstick to the lighter hair, we're loving Hilary Duff's look! Hil posted the close up shot above on Instagram and wrote, "Suuuuper blonde. No extensions @uppercasey murdered my color today 5 hrs. 100+foils #nobiggie."

After visiting the salon, the actress and her two-year-old son Luca left a music class in Beverly Hills, and Hil, who usually carries the toddler, didn't even hold her independent son's hand.

Hilary channeled her younger self in a pair of grey distressed overalls and a white wifebeater, and she polished off the look with aviator shades, nude suede booties, hot pink lips and red nails. Her son matched in a blue tank top and black and white striped pants rolled up above his red Converse.

It's a wonder the 26-year-old manages to spend so much quality time with Luca. She's currently recording her fifth album, which will be released this fall, and will appear next in the indie comedy Flock of Dudes. On the TV front, the busy actress just wrapped a pilot for TV Land from Sex and the City creator Darren Star. The show is called Younger, appropriately enough.
