We knew he was going to win for his role in Dallas Buyers Club! Well, us and everyone else in the entertainment industry, but still! Just the other day, Jared Leto insisted that there was no way he would take home the prize for Best Supporting Actor at the 2014 Academy Awards...

Before accepting the prize, Jared posed for photos on the red carpet, and the 42-year-old actor, who was wearing a white Saint Laurent tux with a red bowtie, was joined by his mom and brother at the show.

Jared beat out Barkhad Abdi (Captain Phillips), Bradley Cooper (American Hustle), Michael Fassbender (12 Years a Slave), and Jonah Hill (12 Years a Slave). "This is a crazy time in my life, but it�s a focused time," he told Flaunt magazine last month. 'You only get to do this once and in this case once may be the only time you get to do it. It�s a funny way to say it, but it�s kind of true. I�m acutely aware of that and very respectful of the path I�m walking down. I�m glad that this happened to me now and not when I first started. It�s a really good thing."

Congrats on the award ... and looking this hot in his 40s!
