Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves struck a pose on the red carpet at the 2014 Academy Awards, and the 44-year-old actor looked dapper in a D&G suit while his gorgeous wife wowed in a pastel Gabriela Cadena gown.

As you know, Matthew is nominated for Best Actor for his work in Dallas Buyers Club, and he'll be competing against Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale, Bruce Dern and Chiwetel Ejiofor for the prize.

Last week Matty appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and he was very humble about his chances of winning. Jimmy joked, "We gotta prepare you to win an Academy Award because you know you're going to win, right?" Matty shook his head, and when Jimmy brought it up again, Matty noted that losing 40 pounds wasn't just to look like the character he was playing, but to understand him. "Doing that for five months put me in a place where I was able to study and surround myself with everything Ron Woodruff, everything about HIV and AIDs at that time -- it was perfect tool -- I didn't even know it would be until I was doing it," he said.
