Taylor Swift and model Lily Aldridge strolled to lunch in the Big Apple today, and even though the "Trouble" singer can't seem to find a boyfriend to save her life, she seems to have a knack for finding famous gal pals!

The country cutie looked every inch the hipster in black tights and a green pea coat, while the Victoria's Secret stunner showcased her chic style in an all black outfit with sexy knee high boots!

So how exactly did these two become buds? They both live in Nashville!

In fact, it was Aldridge who landed T-Swizzle the gig of performing at the Victoria's Secret fashion show last November.

"I was having dinner with Lily Aldridge and told her it would be great if Taylor Swift would do the show. Lily said, 'We both live in Nashville and we're friends.' I was incredulous, like, 'you are friends with Taylor Swift?' That's like something imaginary, like you're friends with Harvey the Rabbit. Lily sent her a note, and Taylor Swift said she would love to do the Victoria's Secret show," VS creative officer Ed Razek told WWD.

Next thing we know Tay Tay is going to be grabbing drinks with Gisele Bundchen!
