Ben Affleck may be gearing up for Batman, but this is the movie of his that we're most excited to see!!

The first trailer for Gone Girl has hit the web, and Ben stars as Nick Dunne, whose wife Amy goes missing on their fifth wedding anniversary. While Nick is the prime suspect, not everything is what it seems, and there are all sorts of twists and turns in the plot.

The trailer for the big screen adaptation of Gillian Flynn's bestselling novel is set to Elvis Costello's cover of the song "She," and if you've read the book, you'll be pleased to see several key scenes come to life in this clip. (You know, his creepy grin at the press conference, the panties at his office...)

"I don’t want to give away too much, because if you know the book, you know that there are set of reveals that you would want to maintain the integrity of," Ben told Entertainment Weekly the other day. "But I will say that Gillian adapted it and I think it’s very, very faithful to her book. If you read the book and liked it, you will definitely like the movie."

Neil Patrick Harris, Emily Ratajkowski and Tyler Perry also star in the David Fincher-directed film, which hits theaters on October 3.
