Billy Bob Thorton: Angelina Jolie And I "Check In On Each Other All The Time"

Billy Bob Thorton recently revealed that he and his ex-wife Angelina Jolie are still a part of each other's lives, and they talk from time to time to catch up!
"She's amazing, amazing. She's got so much energy and so much goodness in her, and we check in on each other all the time," he confessed to relationship site YourTango.
"She makes sure I'm doing okay. I make sure she's doing okay," he added.
The pair were married for two turbulent years before officially divorcing in May 2003.
If they are so fond of each other, they why did they split in the first place?
"I blew it because I didn't think I was good enough for her. She has one way she wanted to live her life and I had another way I wanted to live mine and I was just too insecure," he admitted on Nightline in 2012.
