Josh Duhamel and baby Axl had some boy bonding time when they grabbed lunch at Early World in Brentwood, Calif., on Friday.

And it looks like the wee one is having a ball with his dad!

Over the weekend, Josh was on daddy duty with his seven-month-old yet again while his wife Fergie partied with her friends at Coachella.

It looks like the Safe Haven actor is taking to parenting like a fish takes to water.

”He’s dad of the year, he’s the best partner to have a kid with,” Fergie recently said during a chat with Extra. “‘The best part of being a mom is just hanging out with my kid. He’s my homie! I’m just listening, talking back with him and trying to teach him words like 'nose' and 'dancing.' Daddy is trying to teach him 'ball' and I’m trying to teach him 'dance.'"
