Little Eric may not have been having it, but his parents were able to laugh off his mini temper tantrum!

Yesterday Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman took their adorable little boy to the doctor in Beverly Hills, and though he was crying after his checkup, his parents were able to calm him down before they hopped in the car together. It kinda makes us melt when we see how much fatherhood has mellowed out the tough-as-nails X Factor judge!

"I was born to be a dad," Simon told his ex-girlfriend/pal Terri Seymour on Extra last month. "I actually said to Lauren beforehand, 'What if I like the dogs more than him?' and she said, 'You're gonna be absolutely fine,' and then literally within seconds of him being born, I got it!"
