After a week of preps in Paris, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have finally tied the knot in Florence, Italy at the Forte di Belvedere.

Kim's family was there and friends included LaLa Anthony, Rachel Roy, Andre Leon Talley, Jaden Smith, Robin Antin, Jonathan Cheban, Tyga and Blac China, Brittny Gastineau and many more.

Overlooking the town of Florence, the fortress, set up in the hills surrounding the city, was a picture-perfect setting for the uber-chic nuptials. Guests flew in from Paris yesterday, via private jet, and are staying at the Westin Excelsior. Meanwhile, Kim's family are staying at the rented, private Villa San Michele, where the bride and her groom will room in the Limonaia Suite.

The Villa is a bit of a drive from the fortress, so wedding planners were reportedly nervous Kim and Kanye could be late for the own wedding. But sources tell X17online, the ceremony, so far, has gone off without a hitch.

That said -- one glitch in the event has gotten significant attention ... Beyonce and Jay Z's absence. It was speculated for weeks that the couple would skip the nuptials after reportedly telling Kim and Kanye they didn't want to be a part of the filming for the family's reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Well it's confirmed now -- Beyonce Instagram'd this shot of herself today, from the Hamptons, where the pair are, apparently, spending the Memorial Day weekend. It's also possible the couple wanted to steer clear of Kim's pal Rachel Roy, a guest at the wedding, with whom Beyonce's sister Solange reportedly fought at the Met Gala after-party just before getting into an elevator and beating up on Jay.

But the show must go on! Rick Wilkerson, Jr., a paster from North Miami, performed the ceremony, according to People Magazine. Andrea Bocelli sang as Kim walked down the aisle, escorted by her step-dad Bruce Jenner.

The backdrop was a massive wall of flowers, exactly like the one Kanye gifted Kim on Mother's Day.

Kim, 33, and Kanye, 36, draw applause and laughter from their wedding guests and various times during the nuptials. Various reports called West "nervous" during the ceremony and Kris Jenner was reportedly "emotional."

Kardashian and West have been dating since 2012, not long after Kim divorced basketballer Kris Humphries. It is her third marriage; West's first. West proposed to Kim in a surprise engagement party at San Francisco's AT&T Park in October.

Florence is a special place for the pair, as Kanye revealed to an Italian magazine recently, he believes that's where daughter North was conceived.

The Forte di Belvedere dates back to the 16th century; it recently reopened in 2013 after five years of renovations.
