The world's most perfect man, Ryan Gosling, did something, at some point, with some people to promote some movie, somewhere in France -- but we don't really care about the mundane details 'cause all we want to do is look at Ryry, looking perfect, in his perfect shirt, in the perfect weather, under the perfect sun. Basically we're trying to say we think Ryan Gosling is super hot. And we have a feeling you do too.

But for reals, the Canadian hunk joined Christina Hendricks, whom he previously co-starred in Drive with, at the photocall for his directorial debut, Lost River, during the 67th Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday. The Notebook star rolled up his sleeves under the French Riviera's hot sun and we couldn't be happier about it -- we love to see those guns!

But where's Ryan's longtime lady love, Eva Mendes? We haven't seen her at the film fest yet and we think it's a bit odd considering this is the first film her man's directed. Could things be headed south yet again for the private couple? We hope so! Or does Eva just hate sunshine, picturesque views, good food, dazzling parties and the French?
