Katy Perry has announced she's starting her own record label called Metamorphosis Music, which will be a joint venture with Capitol Records.

"I am so ECSTATIC to finally announce my NEW label Metamorphosis Music & my first signing, the incredibly talented & soulful FERRAS!" she wrote on Instagram Tuesday.

The male pop singer released his EP the same day as the "Roar" chanteuse broke the news of her new business decision.

This guy is one lucky duck to have Queen KP in his corner!
