Looks like someone took a trip to Joshua Tree!

Yesterday Miley Cyrus took off her shirt and had a friend snap a photo of her flashing the peace sign with a dry landscape in the background, and she didn't reveal her whereabouts, but this doesn't look like her Toluca Lake backyard. In the shot on the right she wrote, "#ladytonguecontroller," which seems like an appropriate caption...

Apparently there was some rumor that the singer was found dead of an overdose in her home, but clearly that's not the case! "Miley is just laying low and hanging out with her new dog and just relaxing,” a source told HollywoodLife. “She is aware of the death hoax and thought it was actually pretty funny. By not responding, she thinks it is that much more of a joke because people are continuing to believe it.”

The 21-year old pop star will get back on the road on August 1 to make up some Bangerz tour dates she missed when she suffered a severe allergic reaction earlier this spring, so it looks like she's enjoying herself on her last week off!
