Shia LaBeouf and his lawyers are close to reaching a plea deal in his disorderly conduct case.

LaBeouf appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court on Thursday morning, and Assistant District Attorney Alyssa Russell told Judge Ann Scherzer, "Defense counsel and I are discussing a possible resolution in this case ... at this time there is still no offer or recommendation." She asked for an adjournment until September "in hopes we can come toward a disposition." The judge granted the adjournment, and all parties are due back in court on September 10.
