Hilary Duff stepped out in Beverly Hills in a pair of skintight jeans on Monday, and the 26-year-old singer/actress was feeling quite chipper when X17 photographers caught up with her.

Despite the fact that her new single "Chasing The Sun" hasn't been getting the best reviews from critics, let's keep in mind that a) there are other songs on her upcoming album and b) she's been out of the music game for a while. Like, seven years. That's a long time!

On the plus side, she looks smokin' hot in her music video for the song, and she looks great here. See, there's a reason to smile!
