Dr. Luke is firing back! Two weeks after Kesha made shocking claims against the famed music producer, accusing him of sexual assault and battery in a lawsuit, Dr. Luke has filed a counter suit against the popstar's mother, Pebe Sebert, TMZ reports. The producer filed the lawsuit against Kesha's mother in New York and has called the singer's claims defamatory and an attempt to extort him into a better record deal.

In the lawsuit, which was filed on Tuesday, Dr. Luke is seeking $75,000 in compensatory damages and punitive damages. The suit accuses the pop star’s mother of orchestrating the singer's allegations of sexual impropriety against him in an attempt to strong-arm him to release the "Die Young" singer from her recording contract, claims the news outlet. The lawsuit then claims when Pebe's tactics didn't work, she tried to extort him, and after that also didn’t work, Pebe tried to extort him.

The lawsuit goes on to say that when Kesha couldn’t get out of the contract, her mother convinced her she was being wronged and encouraged her to file a lawsuit claiming that Dr. Luke had raped her.

The music man, who has also worked with Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne and Rihanna, also claims in the lawsuit that Kesha and Pebe have both admitted under oath that the rape accusations are false.

The 27-year-old singer filed her lawsuit on October 14 and since then Dr. Luke has filed this lawsuit and other one.

Kesha's attorney, Mark Geragos said that Dr. Luke’s first lawsuit was just a vain attempt to discredit the singer's claims.

“It’s absolutely the only reason, I mean, explain why on a Tuesday when we file the lawsuit, three hours later they go into a New York court with what I can best describe as an amateurish lawsuit, hatefully filed in a desperate attempt to once again blame the victim,” said the attorney at the time of the original suits.
