Backdoor Teen Mom Farrah Abraham is going back is her roots. The controversial mom is headed to MTV to do the Teen Mom spinoff series, Teen Mom OG, reports Us Weekly.

The 23-year-old spoke to the mag about putting her clothes back on and joining other original Teen Mom stars Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell, and Maci Bookout.

“There’s going to be lots of excitement from the Teen Mom fans and MTV’s fan base as well, so I’m excited to be back!” said the reality star-turned-porn star.

Originally, the 23-year-old was not intended to be on Teen Mom OG after her three co-stars said they did not want to be associated with Abraham. A source told Us that the three mothers felt that, "she set a bad example and doesn't represent the network well."

Looks like MTV is changing its tune now!

The show's creator Lauren Dolgren said that without Abraham something was missing. “We had shot a couple of story lines ... and there is something about having that fourth story to counterbalance — there’s just a magic to four stories and four different points of view.”

It probably didn't hurt that the fourth story line the creator is speaking of is one that showcases a delinquent mom who's basically picked porn over motherhood. We imagine that MTV was dying to weave her storyline back into the show because they know viewers are champing at the bit to get a glimpse at the "actress"' unsavory life.

Abraham, who is mom to five-year-old Sophia, said of her "comeback": “I think they were more or less saying that there was more to my story that they really felt was missing from the Teen Mom show, and I totally agree with them. I understand their point of view, and it was a funny situation to be in.”

The mom said that despite initially being snubbed by the show -- she was welcoming to the idea of returning for her daughter's sake. “I think it was important because I mean just weighing out the options and my future for my daughter. I think Teen Mom is important for the children and their futures. And I think it holds some good opportunities for Sophia and her future.”

Abraham, who recently came out with an erotic novel and a line of sex toys, says she won't be toning down her lifestyle for the TV. “I’m not doing anything differently that I would not do when the cameras are there or not there,” she said. “I mean, I don’t know if it really benefits me to be on TV because I was most successful in my career when I was away from Teen Mom. So if it benefits me then that’s randomly benefiting. I’m more or less looking at it to benefit Sophia.”

Yes Farrah -- it definitely seems like you are putting Sophia's needs over yours. Mmm hmmm ...
