Bruce Jenner stepped out on Tuesday to grab coffee in Malibu, and this marks the first time he's been seen in public since his involvement in a horrific car crash on Saturday that left one woman dead.

Bruce was very somber when he left Starbucks, and he stayed silent when photographers asked about the fatal crash. Since his Cadillac SUV is currently smashed up and in the shop, Bruce was driving a much smaller Ford Fiesta, which is presumably a rental. Bruce wore his hair in a ponytail and wore his usual getup of baggy jeans and a hoodie, and he kept his hat and shades covering his face.

Between the accident and the news that he's transitioning from a man to a woman, he has a LOT on his plate right now. But with all this going on, Bruce will continue filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians, along with his own show, with will follow his gender transition.

Earlier today it was confirmed that Jenner hired high-profile attorney Blair Berk to represent him, and though he reportedly wasn't speeding or texting at the time of the crash, he could face misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter charges. A number of sites have published photos of the reality TV star smoking a cigarette moments before the crash, and TMZ reports that Jenner may have been following the car he hit too closely, which is a traffic violation. According to California traffic laws, a violation that results in the death of another motorist could be grounds for manslaughter.

Bruce said in a statement on Monday, "My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident. It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible."
