What a fun mother-daughter outing!

Katie Holmes took her daughter Suri shopping at the mall in Calabasas today, and we bet the actress dropped a pretty penny buying things for her little princess.

We think it's sort of crazy that ever since the Dawson's Creek star divorced Tom Cruise, the action star has virtually vanished from his little girl's life. Being a single working mom is tough, but Katie manages to handle it with ease. The 36-year-old's most recent film Mania Days just premiered at the South by Southwest media festival, and she has another called Woman In Gold set to come out in April.

When is the brunette beauty going to find a new man? She hasn't publicly dated anyone since her split from her action star hubby, and we can't imagine she wants to be alone forever!
