Bobby Brown revealed that his daughter Bobbi Kristina is "awake" and aunt Tina Brown seemingly confirmed that the starlet is off of life support, and now Bobbi Kristina's grandmother has spoken out about the 22-year-old's condition.
Cissy Houston said in a statement to Us Magazine:
After Bobby commented about his daughter's status at a concert over the weekend, his lawyer added that Bobbi has improved and “will live a long life†but the “quality of her life will not be known for years to come.â€
Brown was found facedown in her bathtub on January 31, and two days after the accident she was put on life support. Whatever the outcome of this tragedy, our thoughts are with the family...
Cissy Houston said in a statement to Us Magazine:
- "I have just returned from visiting my granddaughter Bobbi Kristina in the hospital and while she is no longer in a medically induced coma she has a tracheotomy and according to the doctors she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive. Meeting with the doctors and understanding that she can live in this condition for a lifetime truly saddens me. We can only trust in God for a miracle at this time. Keep us in your prayers."
