Celebs may have been banned from taking selfies at this year's Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala -- but it looks like most of them didn't give a damn! Take that Anna Wintour!

The 2015 Met Gala had a strict "no selfies" rule -- but it appears as if the rich and famous were breaking that policy at every turn.

Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Behati Prinsloo, Madonna, Kim Kardashian, Reese Witherspoon, Miley Cyrus, Diplo, Jennifer Lopez, Kendall Jenner and more couldn't resist taking a sexy snap of themselves at New York's most fashionable bash of the year -- and who could blame them?!

According to Page Six, the social media ban was not an attempt to keep the Vogue event exclusive, but was “solely to do with guests’ security and enjoyment of the event.”

We have a feeling when Anna Wintour rises from her coffin this morning and checks the Internet, she's not going to be super happy about the surplus of selfies!
