They're coming home!

After six-year battle, Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford is finally bringing home her two children back to the United States. On Friday, a judge granted the 46-year-old actress sole custody of her two children who have been living in France and Monaco with their father, Daniel Giersch, since 2012.

The California ruling is temporary as Rutherford waits to see if it will hold up to Monaco's standards. While the news is good for the actress, the temporary ruling only gives Kelly the right to bring her children back to the U.S. (which she could not do) during the custody battle proceedings.

Kelly started warring with her ex back in 2010 when the pair divorced. In 2012, the famous mom lost residential custody of her two young children, as a judge has ruled that her ex could keep their kids in France, where he resided. In December 2013, a judge determined that Giersch didn't have to pay for Hermes and Helena to visit her in America. Rutherford has spoken of her battle publicly and subsequently created the Children's Justice Campaign to help other parents in her situation.

In April, the star went on Good Morning America and spoke about her fight. "I know it's not right. Parents know — everyone knows it's not right." She continued, "I can sit her and tell you how often I cry. I can tell you how it feels to leave my kids in a foreign country and seeing them after not seeing them for weeks on end. Not being able to bring them from school and pick them up from school, dress them, hug them, smell them."

We're happy for Kelly and hope she gets to keep those kids of her stateside!
