While the Biebs has been making all kinds of promotional appearances for his upcoming single, "What Do You Mean," have you noticed that all of them have been taped? Apparently his camp is "so terrified of him speaking live," they refused to let him do any press without prior approval, according to Page Six. What are they so afraid of Bieber talking about!?

In other news, Bieber's new single will be released tomorrow, and he'll be performing at the MTV VMAS on August 30, alongside Nicki Minaj, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Demi Lovato, The Weeknd and Video Vanguard honoree Kanye West. The 21-year-old superstar will also appear on The Tonight Show and he'll take the stage for The Today Show's concert series on September 10. Busy Biebs!
