Kelly Slater's Famous Friends Support His Clothing Launch

Who knew pro surfer Kelly Slater was friends with everyone in Hollywood!? And who knew he had a line of goods with Pottery Barn? This is actually blowing our minds!
Over the weekend Slater launched his Outerknown clothing line at architect Harry Gesner’s treehouse-inspired home in Malibu, and stars like Julia Roberts, Cindy Crawford, Jason Statham, Gerard Butler, Anthony Kiedis, Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky all showed up to support the athlete.
So, aside from apparel, what about that Pottery Barn line? “We’re actually talking to PBteen about doing a second season,†he told WWD. “I love the sustainablity arm of what they did and the design was really nice.†Aside from surfing killer waves, Slater wants to be known for creating products that fit into the sustainable lifestyle category.
“I’m trying to be as responsible as I can be with what I do and what I put my name to,†Slater added. “If a brand approaches me and I don’t believe in their kind of ethos, I don’t work with them. The money is not an issue.†Er, seeing as some of Slater's tees retail for $80 a pop, we're not so sure about that...
