Miley Cyrus hosted last night's season premiere of Saturday Night Live, and the 22-year-old pop superstar knocked it out of the park with her hilarious monologue and characters. Miley started her monologue by noting that she was on a “seven-second delay,” but “not a television delay.” She joked, “It’s just when you smoke as much as I do, you’re always on a seven-second delay."

Cyrus then sang while a handful of SNL actors represented newsmakers in the background. From Rachel Dolezal to the dentist who killed Cecil the Lion, just about everyone was covered. We also saw pizza rat, the boys from the Entourage movie and Ariana Grande’s donut. After a few sketches, Miley got down to singing, and she was rather emotional while performing "The Twinkle Song" with the Flaming Lips:


And Miley wasn't the only big name on last night's show ...Hilary Clinton made an appearance as well! Comedian Kate McKinnon played Clinton while Clinton played a bartender serving McKinon. The ladies briefly touched on a few campaign issues, and not only was there a quick appearance by "Bill," but the two broke into song at the end:
