She's got friends in high places!

Kate Hudson debuted her new healthy living book Pretty Happy last night at a launch party held at Gracias Madre in West Hollywood, and she got tons of support from all her celeb friends! Nicole Richie, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Meyer, and Molly Sims were just a few of the many faces that got decked out to toast the actress' latest project, but noticeably absent was the blonde beauty's boy toy Nick Jonas!

"There are a lot of boys in our families. [My mother and I] need that energy with each other. I pretty much talk to her every day. I can't really go a week. I've gone a week, but it's super rare," the mother-of-two explained of her need for female energy.

The bubbly blonde probably needs her girlfriends to lean on more than ever, considering her "Jealous" crooner love interest stepped out the other night with another chick.

She's definitely got the most powerful squad in tinseltown!
