In case you feel bad about your life right now -- just remember Mischa Barton debuted on Dancing with the Stars last night. You're doing great.

A forlorn looking Mischa and her partner Artem Chingvintsev kicked off the 22nd season dancing to "In the Night" by The Weeknd -- and it did not go well. The pair scored a 16 out of 30 -- the third lowest score of the night. Yikes! But at least one person was singing the troubled star's praises -- her former O.C. castmate Rachel Bilson!

The 34-year-old Heart of Dixie star captioned a screenshot of her pal and wrote, "Got to give it up for @mischamazing takes balls. Get it guurrrrlll!"

Well at least Mischa's got one fan because notoriously tough judge Len Goodman was less than impressed. The Brit said that the actress walked through the routine, adding, “That wasn’t a dance."

We have a feeling Ryan "Fists of Fury" Atwood would not have liked that comment!
