Word on the former Eastern Bloc is that Russian president Vladimir Putin and Rupert Murdoch’s ex-wife Wendi Deng are a couple. Aww! Aren't these lovebirds just the picture of a warm and fuzzy couple?!

Rumors have been swirling ever since their respective divorcees split from their partners a few years ago. One source close to the Russian tells Us Weekly the twosome are "serious." Also we've seen Putin on more than a few occasions -- we're pretty sure that "serious" is the only shade he comes in!

The controversial president married to Lyudmila Putina for 30 years before divorcing in April 2014. The exes have daughters Maria, 30, and Yekaterina, 29.

After Putin's split, the pres was rumored to be dating Russian gymnast Alina Kabaeva.

Meanwhile, Deng was married to Murdorch for 14 years. The Australian businessman, who just married Jerri Hall, filed for divorce in June 2013 after he reportedly suspected a relationship with British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

From the billionaire businessman to the unrelenting Russian, Wendi Deng certainly has a type!
