Shia LaBeouf's latest stunt is hitchhiking across the country with the help of his fans.

The wild man is teaming up with Vice, as well as his frequent collaborators Rönkkö and Turner, to travel across the country via the kindness of strangers.

For the next 30 days,the actor and his two pals will be sending out GPS coordinates via Twitter and the #TakeMeAnywhere website, and traveling with anyone who picks them up.

According to the website, the project is commissioned by the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, which is part of The Finnish Institute in London and MediaLive 2016. The project is also being contributed by Vice and the Frame Contemporary Art Finland.

The unruly actor spoke to Vice about why he was doing the trip, which originated in Boulder, CO., and explained that it was about making friends along the way, "Hitchhiking is really the ultimate collab."

The group's first journey didn't led them very far, they ended up with a group of young guys who took them to the Oskar Blues Brewery in Longmont, Colorado.
