The Kardashian family's West Hollywood Dash boutique was boarded up and closed on Tuesday after an unidentified man attempted to set fire to the store the previous day. According to a note left on the door, the store will re-open today.
On Monday around 11:20 p.m., an onlooker called 911 and reported seeing someone throw a “lit object†through the front window of the boutique, an officer from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told the Los Angeles Times. Glass was broken, and though police discovered a smoldering object when they arrived on the scene, there was no other damage to the store.
TMZ reports that authorities also found a bottle of lighter fluid outside the store, so the situation could have been a lot worse! Police are investigating the incident as attempted arson, and they are looking for any camera footage that may have captured a clip of the culprit. No arrests have been made.
