Debra Messing is one fiery red head!

The former Will & Grace star took to Twitter to respond to Blake Shelton's comments about Donald Trump, but directing tweets at the singer's girlfriend Gwen Stefani.

The actress posted and then deleted a tweet, "Omg. How? @gwenstefani please talk to your man to not vote for the person who will strip you of your rights."

The comments Messing is referring to is Shelton's recent interview with Billboard, "Whether you love him or hate him, he says what he thinks, and he has proven that you don't always have to be so afraid. A lot of people are pulling for him, no matter how much Hollywood fights it."

Stefani actually stayed mum on her man, but Shelton tweeted right away saying that he hadn't endorsed Trump -- or any candidate.

The country crooner clarified his statement, writing, "Hey before this gets going like it always does… I haven't enforced (sic) ANYBODY for president. And I not going to. I don't do that s--." He added, "My comment about wish there was another option but there's not is across the board…period. Now go dig up another story."

Messing quickly deleted her tweet and apologized to both the country boy and his bottled-blonde lady love, writing, "Ok- I regret commenting. My passions got the better of me. Sorry. @gwenstefani @blakeshelton."

We're glad she apologized -- because it's clear that Shelton didn't even say he was supporting Trump!

Always the gentleman, Shelton quickly accepted the apology and wrote back, "Thank you sis. I don't endorse anybody. For this very reason!!"

Seriously, Blake Shelton is a pretty class dude!
