President Barack Obama spoke at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday evening in Philadelphia, and his speech wasn't nearly as moving as his wife Michelle's, but it was still very powerful. "There has never been anyone more qualified [to be president]", he said of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. "I hope you don't mind, Bill, but I was just telling the truth, man."

Obama took a number of jabs at Donald Trump while he spoke, including slamming the reality star's "Make America Great Again" slogan. "Don't let anyone tell you that our country isn't great, that we need to make it great again. This is the greatest country on Earth," Obama said. "I am more optimistic about the future of America than ever before ... What I have seen more than anything is what is right with America."

After mentioning Trump's name again and hearing the crowd booing, Obama said some of the most important words of the evening: "Don't boo — vote." Click the video above to watch his full speech.

A fired-up Vice President Joe Biden took things a step further when he delivered his speech. “Just listen to me a second without booing or cheering,” he told the crowd. “[Trump’s] cynicism is unbounded. His lack of empathy and compassion can be summed up in that phrase he is most proud of making famous: ‘You’re fired.’ I’m not joking. No matter where you were raised, how can there be pleasure in saying, ‘You’re fired’? He is trying to tell us he cares about the middle class. Give me a break. That is a bunch of malarkey.”

Biden continued, "I know why we are strong. I know why we are held together. I know why we are united: It is because there has always been a growing middle class. This guy does not have a clue about the middle class. Not a clue.” Damn!

Lee Daniels and Angela Bassett spoke about gun violence, and stars like Debra Messing, Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Darren Criss and Rosie Perez took the stage to perform "What The World Needs Now is Love." Finally, Lenny Kravitz wrapped up the show with "Let Love Rule":
