Tony Romo Fat Shamed By The Internet After Unflattering Photo Emerges

Tony Romo was photographed at Dallas Cowboys’ training camp on Saturday in Oxnard, California, and while he looked a little heavier than last season, it's not like he morphed into the Marshmallow Man. Apparently the internet disagreed, and a slew of cruel memes mocking the athlete popped up on social media.

Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin chatted with Yahoo! NFL reporter Charles Robinson to defend his teammate, and Robinson tweeted yesterday, “Just talked to @michaelirvin88 about the Tony Romo ‘fat’ pic ... Michael: ‘I just had lunch with him last Tuesday. Tony looks fine.’”

The 36-year-old NFL star was photographed jogging on the filed in a Cowboys jersey and shorts, and we're not sure if it's all his tummy or the baggy top, but he does look a bit beefier. Here's what the internet had to say:
