The New York Post leaked never-before-seen nude photos of Melania Trump over the weekend, but we doubt it will hurt husband Donald's presidential campaign. After all, they were shot in 1995 for a French men's magazine and she was a fashion model for years before she met the business mogul.

"Melania was super great and a fantastic personality and she was very kind with me,” photographer Alé de Basseville told the paper.

The Slovenian beauty married the Republican presidential nominee in January 2005, so how could she have known these images would come back to haunt her? For his part, Donald isn't upset at all about the attempted character assassination.

"Melania was one of the most successful models and she did many photo shoots, including for covers and major magazines. This was a picture taken for a European magazine prior to my knowing Melania. In Europe, pictures like this are very fashionable and common," he told the Post on Sunday.

Trump is probably thrilled that everyone could see how smokin' hot his wife is!
