Azealia Banks is changing her tune!

After hurling racist and homophobic insults at Zayn Malik back in May, the rapper has penned a very emotional and heartfelt apology to the "Like I Would" singer just days after her hotel room fight with Russell Crowe. The sentiment of the letter is great -- but it's a little late!

In the open letter to Malik, the 25-year-old said she was she’s sorry for launching into the shocking and foul-mouthed tirade against the former One Directioner.

The outspoken performer said she wanted to apologize after the incident with Crowe, explaining, “There are no words that can fully express how sorry I am. Recent events have taught me the importance of taking accountability for one's actions ... I want and need to say I am sorry, I was wrong.”

The "Ice Princess" singer added, “Coming from an ethnicity that is largely discriminated against does not warrant a license to use derogatory, abusive terminology nor does it give me the right to make hurtful remarks."

We agree with all of this!

BTW: In case you forgot what she's apologizing for, here's just one unsavory morsel from her rant: "Dude, I make better music than you. Simmer down with that fake white boy rebellion and that wannabe beiber swag. Lol u a b*tch n--ga for even responding like that. Keep sucking this yung rapunxel d--k u hairy curry scented b*tch."

She also said, "Imma start calling you punjab you dirty b*tch. You a d--k rider for real for real. Ride this d--k until the wheels fall off Punjab."

Oh and if that wasn't bad enough, she said, "U.S.A IS ABOUT TO TEACH YOU WHO NOT TO F--K WITH!! When your entire extended family has been obliterated by good ol the U.S of A will you still be trying to act like a white boy pretending to be black? Do you understand that you are a sand n----- who emulates white boys' renditions of black male hood? Do you know how lost and culture less you are?"

Well she certainly has a way with words! We're glad she's using her words for good today!
