Kesha looked like a modern-day Pink Lady at LAX, on Thursday, with her sexy pink satin bomber and a short black suede leather skirt with ankle boots and cat-eye sunnies. And whoa, that cleavage!

The singer headed out of town with boyfriend Brad Ashenfelter. She probably needs someone to hold her hand and comfort her ... because things aren't going too well for Kesha at the moment.

The New York Times reports that while Kesha was the one who sued her long-time collaborator Dr. Luke, it's the accomplished producer who seems to have the upper hand. Many of Kesha's claims have been thrown out, she's had to switch legal teams and she still hasn't gotten very far in the two years since she filed.

It seems, all she wants now, is to get back to music. Daniel Petrocelli, a lawyer for Kesha, said in a statement, “Kesha has been trying for six months to record and release new music. But he said that progress had been made only in the last month“It is hardly enough. Kesha still has received no commitments on promotion, songs or even a release date. We hope things turn around fast.”

Meanwhile, Dr. Luke's attorney, Christine Lepera, called Kesha’s return to the stage and studio “a significant retreat” after her efforts to get out of her contracts were denied, according to the Times.

“She had stopped her own career; no one else did,” Ms. Lepera said in an interview. “For her to say, ‘Now I’m ready, so let’s hurry up’ — she could have been doing this all along.”

Now, as both prepare for trial, Kesha has submitted 22 songs to Dr. Luke's Kemosabe label. Sony Music is mediating the production process and Dr. Luke will not work directly on the album. A Sony spokesperson said, "Creating a new album takes time, and everyone’s goal is to deliver a high-quality album consistent with Kesha’s past releases. We hope to share exciting new music with Kesha’s fans soon." We do, too!
